9th ranked Nebraska-Kearney set a new conference record by winning their 40th straight match in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play by defeating Chadron State in straight sets with scores of 25-14, 25-17, 25-19 to improve to 23-3 overall and 14-0 this season in conference play.
Three Nebraska-Kearney players finished with double-digit kills and the Lopers hit .311 as a team. Kelsey Warner finished with a match-high 11 kills, while Ashley Leitner and Jeri Walkowiak each had 10. Mollie Jones paced Chadron State’s offense with eight kills and 10 digs. Chadron State is 2-22 on the season.
