The Department of Health and Human Services is taking some tough questions from Senators, many who feel they are moving too quickly in efforts to reform the child welfare system. Senator Arnie Stuthman of Platte Center asked HHS spokesman Todd Reckling why we aren’t working harder on reforming parents.
“Do you think just because you went through a parenting class you’re going to be a better mom? no. It may help a little bit.
