Bo Pelini thinks his team is prepared for just another football game and not thinking of clinching the Big 12 North, when the Huskers take on Texas A & M Saturday night at 7pm.
A few things we cover on today’s Big Red Report includes, the Huskers needing to be ready on defense for A & M’s no huddle offense. Now it’s nothing that NU hasn’t seen before, several teams use it, the difference can be the speed at which teams get up to the line.
As I mentioned earlier in the week, since Ryan Tannehill took over at quarterback, the Aggies have won four straight and are averaging 41 points a game, but he’s also finding big receivers down the field, including Jeff Fuller who is big just OSU wide receiver Justin Blackmon who Nebraska did a good job on earlier this season.
Pelini said he thought Prince Amukamara and Alfonso Dennard made up one of the best corner duos in the country. He’s sure A & M will test those guys in some one on one situations with their tall receivers.
