The Nebraska men’s basketball team rattled off a 16-0 run in the second half win easily against Jackson State, 76-57, Wednesday night at the Devaney Center in Lincoln.
For the first time since November of 2009, NU had five players in double figures, led by guards, Caleb Walker and Eshaunte Jones, who each had 13 points. Drake Beranek, Brandon Ubel and Brandon Richardson each added 10 apiece. Richardson helped spark the strong second half scoring all 10 of his points in the second half.
Jackson State hit on 12-of-22 three-pointers while Nebraska hit a season high nine on 19 attempts. The 5-2 Huskers host Creighton on Sunday.
