Colorado Rockies manager Jim Tracy is resting at a hospital in Orlando after collapsing early Tuesday morning while attending Major League Baseball’s winter meetings.
According to ESPN.com, Tracy who will turn 55 at the end of this month, was about to get into an elevator when he collapsed. This happened around 1 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Tracy was the NL Manager of the Year in 2009 after leading the Rockies to the playoffs after the team fired manager Clint Hurdle in the middle of the season. Last year, Colorado went 83-79 finished third in the NL West.
