The Husker women went for a stretch of nine minutes in the second half where they were outscored 22-0 at Iowa State and get thumped by the Cyclones 64-43. It is NU’s second game in which they lost to a ranked opponent in conference play.
Even though Iowa State missed their final six shots including three 3-pointers, the Cyclones hit 59% (17-29) of their shots in the second half, and they were 5 of 11 from three-point range. Iowa State outscored NU 43-17 in the second half.
Lindsey Moore led the Huskers with 13 points and four rebounds, while Jordan Hooper added eight points and six boards despite seeing limited minutes with foul trouble. Dominque Hamilton missed her fourth in five games with continued knee and toe injuries.
