Christian Standhardinger, who left the Nebraska men’s basketball team last month, won’t be going to La Salle either after the 21 year old was cited for public indecency at Tierra Park in Lincoln on Sunday. Tuesday morning, he was announced a new player for LaSalle and by Tuesday afternoon, their coach John Giannini released a statement that Standhardinger would not be joining the team.
According to a report in the Lincoln Journal Star, Lincoln police reportedly found Standhardinger with his pants down while in the passenger seat of a parked car at 3:40 a.m. Sunday. There was a 19-year-old female, also reportedly shirtless with him. Standhardinger, and the girl ticketed on suspicion of public indecency and entering a park after hours.
