A state trooper seized a sizeable quantity of drugs during a traffic stop Monday on Interstate 80 near York.
The trooper pulled over a Jeep for failure to signal on I-80 in York County. A state patrol canine alerted to the odor of drugs coming from the vehicle.
A search led to the seizure of four-and-a-half pounds of methamphetamine and nearly four-pounds of marijuana. Troopers say the drugs were stashed under the floor in the rear cargo area.
The meth alone has a street value of more than $40,000. The driver, a California man, was jailed on drug charges.
