Lance Jeter scored 16 points, making it the eighth game in a row that the senior has scored double figures as Nebraska snapped a three game losing streak with a 65-54 win over Oklahoma State Saturday evening at the Devaney Center.
Jeter and the rest of the Huskers were solid on the free throw line going 15 of 18 as a team including 7 of 8 from the senior point guard. NU used balanced offense and their typical strong defense to key the win. The Huskers out-rebounded Oklahoma State, 38-28 and held OSU to 36%(18-of-50) shooting, including 31% in the second half. It is the 14th time this season, NU held an opponent under 60 points.
