Nebraska authorities have rounded up nearly two dozen suspects in a wide reaching drug sting. Undercover operations were launched early in January of last year to set up the orchestrated sweeps, which took place Tuesday and Wednesday. Officers raided homes in several areas, including Cozad, Gothenburg and North Platte. In all, 23 suspects were apprehended on drug charges and were taken to jails in Buffalo, Dawson and Lincoln counties. Quantities of drugs seized from just two houses totalled more than three pounds of marijuana and 40 grams of hash as well as three guns and $1500 dollars cash.
