Nine players will represent Nebraska at the 2011 NFL Scouting Combine which begins on today in Indianapolis. The combine will run from Thursday through Tuesday, March 1. Nebraska is tied for the second-most of any school in the nation, and is tied with Ohio State for the most of any Big Ten or Big 12 school.
Set to participate are defensive end Pierre Allen, cornerback Prince Amukamara, defensive back DeJon Gomes, defensive back Eric Hagg, running back Roy Helu Jr., place-kicker Alex Henery, offensive guard Ricky Henry, receiver Niles Paul and offensive guard Keith Williams.
Henery, Henry and Williams start with the other kickers and offensive linemen today and finish up with on-field skills and testing on Saturday. Paul and Helu workout Friday through Sunday. Allen from Saturday to Monday and defensive backs Amukamara, Hagg and Gomes Sunday thru Tuesday.
