The Nebraska Innovation Campus Development Corporation is announcing a major partnership which will help with phase one of the development. The Innovation Campus Board of Directors have signed a development agreement with Nebraska Nova Development. Nova’s parent company will help with infrastructure development such as roads and sewers at the Innovation Campus site. Nebraska University President James Milliken says this is a big day.
“Today’s agreement is critical for the development of the Innovation Campus because new facilities cannot be constructed until the infrastructure is in place.”
Site work begins later this year with infrastructure development to be completed in 2012. Nebraska Innovation Campus could bring in thousands of new jobs pumping more than 260 million dollars into the economy.
