When Justin Carver arrived at York College in 2002 he had a vision for York College Track and Field to compete on the national stage. As an athlete, Justin Carver made a name for himself on the York College track team. Now after two seasons as an assistant, Carver has been named the head coach.
Among his accomplishments: NCCAA national qualifier in 12 different events. NAIA National qualifier in 4 different events. 4 time NCCAA All-American (top 3 finish) Triple Jump, Long Jump, Decathlon 2 time NCCAA National Runner up in the Long Jump, NCCAA National Runner up Decathlon.
Carver replaces Coach Derek Kite, who accepted the cross country position at his alma mater, Lubbock Christian University, Coach Carver will officially take over the head coaching duties on April 1st and lead the YC program through the outdoor track season.
