Nebraska men gymnasts, Anthony Ingrelli qualified for the rings, Bear Danley on the high bar and Andreas Hofer in the all-around of the NCAA championship finals in Columbus Ohio. As a team, Nebraska finished 10th out of 12 after the qualifying sessions.
Ingrelli recorded a 15.450 on still rings to post the third-best individual score of the second session of the event in Columbus, OH.
Sophmore Andreas Hofer, and senior Bear Danley will be joining Ingrelli in tomorrow’s event final. Hofer in the all-around and Danley on high bar. Hofer’s career high on rings was 14.55. Overall, Hofer’s score was the 10th-best individual all-around score among 19 competitors.
For the first time in his four year career at NU, Danley has earned himself a spot on the second day individual event finals at the NCAA Championships. Danley’s 14.45 led the Husker high bar team, and has him in contention for an All-America award on high bar on Friday night.
NU finished sixth in its six-team qualifying session after posting a 345.450 on the evening.
