After losing 3-0 on Saturday, the 12th ranked Nebraska softball team suffered their fourth straight conference loss losing on Sunday 5-1 at #22 Texas A & M. The loss dropped Nebraska to 31-8 on the season, and the Huskers fell to 3-5.
Junior right-hander Ashley Hagemann suffered her fourth straight loss to fall to 22-7 on the season. Hagemann allowed four runs on seven hits in 3.1 innings. Freshman Tatum Edwards relieved Hagemann and allowed one run on three hits, while adding two strikeouts in 2.2 innings.
Offensively, Julie Brechtel picked up her 26th RBI of the season. Nebraska managed only three hits in the game, as
Aggie ace Melissa Dumezich shut down the Huskers for the second straight day to earn the win and improve to 19-7 on the year. After shutting out Nebraska on Saturday, Dumezich allowed only an unearned run on Sunday, tossing a two-hitter with 10 strikeouts.
