Nebraska State Patrol begins the “100 Days of Summer Initiative”. The Nebraska State Patrol is beginning its fourth year of the 100 Days of Summer initiative. Colonel David Sankey, Superintendent of the Nebraska State Patrol says the initiative is aimed at reducing the number of fatal crashes on Nebraska roads. Sankey says the initiative provides motorists an opportunity to view planned State Patrol enforcement. Travelers can visit the State Patrol website for more information at statepatrol dot nebraska dot gov and click on NSP Enforcement Activities. The program begins on Memorial Day weekend and continues through Labor Day.
