A batch of new state laws took effect over the weekend.
The Nebraska legislature adjourned on the 26th of May and many of the 159 new laws enacted took effect this past Saturday, August 27th, three months after lawmakers wrapped up.
Among the highlights, women now have a legal right to nurse their babies in public.
Nebraska doctors are now banned from using webcams to administer drugs for abortions.
Protesters now have to be at least 500 feet away from funeral homes and cemeteries.
If you’re in a limo or on a chartered party bus, alcohol consumption is now legal.
Also, police can no longer pull you over if you have something hanging from your rearview mirror, unless it significantly restricts the view.
