One defensive players who drew the biggest ooh’s and ahh’s in Saturday game was junior college transfer Daimion Stafford who laid a bone crushing hit on one of Tennessee Chattanooga’s running backs. Stafford transferred to NU from Chaffey College in California where he played linebacker. Not only can he hit, but secondary coach Corey Raymond said he does well in pass coverage.
