Former Husker QB Bubba Starling who left Lincoln after signing with the Kansas City Royals for $7.5 million on August 15th, was one of three Royals prospects arrested for underage drinking on Saturday.
Starling was involved in a random alcohol checkpoint after a college football game between Arizona State and USC in Tempe, AZ. None of the three players tested over the limit. Royals assistant general manager J.J. Picollo said no major disciplinary action would be handed out to the 19 year old phenom from Gardner, KS. or the other two prospects.
