Occupy Omaha protestors took to the streets Saturday. Hundreds gathered downtown in front of Omaha’s City-County Building to protest what they say is corporate greed and to urge the building of a new economy. Many held signs and carried flags and shouted “end the fed” as they marched several blocks and ended in the Old Market area.
The protest was peaceful and those marching had agreed to obey traffic laws and to clean up after themselves.
Members of the Tea Party also gathered to basically protest the protesters.
