Nebraska coach Bo Pelini said that he heard back from the Big Ten Conference and a waiver has been granted to injured defensive tackle Jared Crick that will allow him to travel with the team on all road games beginning this weekend when the team heads to Minnesota.
“It makes sense,” said Pelini. “You shouldn’t have to count him and the young man should be able to travel with the team.”
Running back Rex Burkhead says that’s good news because everyone looks up to Crick.
Crick was lost for the season with a torn pectoral muscle that he injured in the Ohio State game.
