The 6th-ranked Nebraska-Kearney volleyball rolled Chadron State (25-9, 25-15, 25-19) Tuesday night to win their ninth straight match and 14 straight sets. The Lopers also continued an amazing 28 year win streak over the Eagles, beating Chadron for a third time this fall, UNK is 56-0 vs. the Eagles since late in the 1983 season.
Chadron, coached by former Loper assistant Natasha Marquis, began the year 3-1 but is now 5-20 (0-13 RMAC).
UNK held the Eagles to a negative .069 hitting percentage in the first set (5-7-29) while recording 15 kills on offense. Overall, the Lopers hit .292 (46-13-133) and CSC finished at .027 (22-19-10).
