The only court Nebraska volleyball star Lauren Cook is going to see anytime soon is the one with a judge. Nebraska volleyball coach John Cook said his daughter will not play again until the legal process plays out.
Cook was arrested Sunday for allegedly hitting a stopped motorcycle with her S-U-V, injuring both people on the motorcycle, and then leaving the scene of the accident, while driving with the suspended license.
Nebraska volleyball coach John Cook said on his weekly radio show on the Husker Sports Network, that Lauren is still on the team and will practice, but not play in matches.
Cook is scheduled to appear in court next Tuesday. The charge of leaving the scene of an injury accident is a class 3-A felony, though the county attorney has not said what charges will be brought against Cook.
