Nebraska kicker Brett Maher was named Co-Big Ten Special Teams Player of the Week, for his punting. The Kearney native had eight punts and averaged 45 yards including two over 50. One of those punts was a 61 yarder in the fourth quarter that backed Penn State to their 11 late in the game. Maher is 7th in the nation in punt average.
