For the seventh straight season, the Creighton women’s basketball team found themselves on the losing end of a battle with Nebraska, dropping a 66-55 final in Lincoln on Thursday night. The Bluejays finished with 21 turnovers, with Nebraska capitalizing and scoring 28 points off those turnovers. Carli Tritz led the Bluejays with 17 points, the lone Jay to score double-digits on the day.
Jordan Hooper and Lindsey Moore combined for Nebraska’s final 15 points. Hooper scored Nebraska’s final eight points of the game and scored 17 of her game-high 22 points in the second half.
