As we get ready to bid farewell to 2011 and ring in 2012, Creighton University Economist Dr. Ernie Goss says next year should show positive growth for Nebraska’s economy. He also foresees an increase in employment opportunities in the state for next year. He says Nebraska is one of the few states that has done quite well regarding unemployment but we are still not back to pre-recession employment levels.
Dr. Goss expects more businesses will increase their workload. Nebraska’s unemployment rate remains less than have the national average.
