Nebraska 2nd District Congressman pulled a bill he co-sponsored that would have allowed automated calls to cell phones. Terry stated, “I swung and I missed and I admit it.”
Terry stated he listened to his constituents who wanted nothing to do with robo-calls to their cell phones.
There were concerns that unnecessary calls would have eaten up minutes of time and unsolicited calls are unnecessary. Attorneys General of 48 states wrote letters to Washington opposing Terry’s bill.
