Nebraska sophomore Jordan Hooper won her second Big Ten Player-of-the-Week award in the past three weeks when she was named a co-winner of the conference’s weekly honor on Monday, Dec. 26. Hooper put together her second 30-point scoring performance in the past three games with 30 points in Nebraska’s 80-71 win over South Dakota State on Dec. 21.
For the season, Hooper leads the Huskers and ranks second in the Big Ten in both scoring and rebounding with 20.4 points and 9.0 rebounds per game. She has also connected on a team-high 26 three-pointers.
Hooper and the Huskers open Big Ten play on Friday at #16 Penn State.
