The Nebraska football arrived in Orlando Monday night around 9pm local time. They’ll hold a practice this morning and then the first activity planned is a trip to Disney World this afternoon. Linebacker Will Compton says the team is aware that there is a balance between work and play.
Head coach Bo Pelini was upbeat when the team arrived at their hotel. They are staying at the Peabody Hotel, one of two, four star hotels in Orlando. Pelini said he wants the players to enjoy themselves, but he also wants to make sure they realize what the number one priority is…winning the football game. The Huskers will try to erase the bad memories of their 19-7 loss to Washington in the Holiday Bowl. Offensive lineman Yoshi Hardrick said the message from Pelini before the team boarded the plane was pretty simple.
