The Nebraska men’s basketball team opens Big Ten Conference play Tuesday night, as the Huskers welcome 11th ranked Wisconsin for the Huskers’ first-ever Big Ten opener at 8:05 p.m.
The Badgers have won five Big Ten titles and are coming off a Sweet 16 appearance in 2010-11 under head coach Bo Ryan. Wisconsin is 11-2 with those losses coming at North Carolina and at home against Marquette. The Badgers lead the nation by allowing 44.7 points per game, a feat only three teams can brag about in the country.
Doc Sadler will be without Dylan Talley who averaged 9.1 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game before missing the last two games with a thigh bruise. Jorge Brian Diaz has missed the last two games as well and will not be available for the Wisconsin game.
