Former Husker Ndamukong Suh called and apologized to Green Bay Packers offensive lineman Evan Dietrich-Smith just a few days after the Thanksgiving Day game when Suh pushed Dietrich-Smith’s head down into the turf and then stomped on his arm. The action landed Suh a two game suspension.
As far as Dietrich-Smith was concerned, the phone call and apology ended the incident. “He’s cool, he apologized, and there’s no hard feelings and that’s pretty much it,” Dietrich-Smith said.
Dietrich-Smith doesn’t expect anything out of the ordinary to happen between him and Suh if they’re on the field together with Detroit playing at Lambeau Field.
