The Nebraska women’s basketball team rallied from an eight point, second half deficit to beat the Hawkeyes 77-72 in Iowa on Sunday. It was the eighth straight win for the 19th ranked Huskers and second come from behind win in Big Ten play.
Lindsey Moore may have had one of her best all-around games of her career with 22 points, seven rebounds, nine assists and three steals as the Huskers improved to 14-1 on the season and 3-0 in conference play.
Jordan Hooper added 17 points including a three-pointer off a feed from Moore with 2:05 left that gave NU a 73-66 lead. Hooper’s jumper with 16.3 left also gave the Huskers a five-point cushion at 75-70 and Moore sealed the game with a pair of free throws with 9.5 seconds left.
