Congressman Adrian Smith has officially filed for re-election.
Smith, a Republican, serves Nebraska’s Third Congressional District, the state’s largest. He first won election to the seat in 2006.
“It is my life’s greatest honor representing Nebraska’s Third District,” Smith said in a written statement released by his campaign. “With our economic and fiscal future still in dire shape, Nebraskans deserve the absolute best representation in Congress, and I will continue to work tirelessly to earn every vote.”
