Lindsey Moore scored a game-high 28 points, as she had a hand in the Huskers final 19 points, to lead the No. 15 Nebraska women’s basketball team to a 75-69 comeback win at Wisconsin at Thursday night. Nebraska improved to 15-1 on the season and 4-0 in the Big Ten while extending its winning streak to nine games.
Moore, who had 15 points in the first half and 13 in the second half, led four Huskers in double figures. Redshirt freshman Rebecca Woodberry added a career night with 14 points on 5-of-5 shooting from the field, including all four of her three-pointers. Woodberry added five rebounds in 24 minutes off the bench.
Nebraska’s trailed by double digits in the first half and by as many as seven points early in the second half. The Huskers trailed 66-65 with 4:02 left, but outscored the Badgers 10-3 from that point on.
Nebraska returns to Big Ten home action on Sunday afternoon, when the Huskers play host No. 25 Penn State at 2:05 p.m.
