The Nebraska Cornhuskers grabbed the first two of five remaining recruits who hang in the balance on National Signing Day. Aaron Curry, a 6’2, 275-pound defensive tackle chose Nebraska over Iowa and Alonzo Moore picked the Huskers over Northwestern State and Louisiana Tech. Moore is a 6’2, 175-pound athlete.
Defensive tackle coach Rick Kaczenski, who just came over from Iowa had a big hand in getting Curry over to NU. He was ready to join the Hawkeyes, but after Kaczenski notified NU coaches about Curry, they started calling and Curry was impressed with the program and the fact that Nebraska is known for being a defensive school.
