The 13th ranked Nebraska women take their crack at the Wolverines Thursday well rested after enjoying a week off. The Huskers won their first triple OT win on the road at Purdue, 93-89.
Nebraska’s Jordan Hooper, who was added to the Wade Trophy Watch List, led the Huskers with 27 points and seven boards against Purdue. She leads NU with 20.0 points and 9.4 rebounds per game. Junior point guard Lindsey Moore scored eight of her 26 points in the third overtime. Moore’s second three in the third OT also made her the 27th Husker in history to cross the 1,000-point plateau for her career. Moore enter’s the Michigan game averaging 16.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 2.3 steals.
Michigan is 17-7 overall with a 6-5 Big Ten record. Tip off is set for 7:05 p.m.
