If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. Brooks Humphreys did just that to land a spot on the TV quiz show Jeopardy. Humphreys teaches at Omaha Mercy High School and says he started his quest to Jeopardy in the mid 1990’s and he had to try six times to land a spot.
Humphreys says his last audition was on-line and he had to answer 50 questions and was given 15 seconds for each. The show is pre-recorded so Humphreys wouldn’t tell us how things turned out. The show with Humphreys will air Thursday.
Jeopardy is currently running the “Tournament of Teachers” through the month of February.
