The Nebraska State Patrol reports that a trooper stopped a sports utility vehicle for speeding near the Lincoln Airport exit on Interstate 80. The trooper smelled a strong odor and a search discovered a little more than 60 pounds of marijuana stuffed in several duffel bags in the cargo area of the SUV.
50-year-old Joseph L. Leon of Gwynn Oak, Maryland has been charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. He has been jailed in Lancaster County.
