One person died and five suffered injuries in a weekend accident near Lincoln.
The Nebraska State Patrol reports 46-year-old Christopher Fayes of Ceresco died at the scene of the crash at the intersection of Highway 77 and Davey Road in Lancaster County Friday afternoon. Troopers report Fayes failed to stop at a stop sign on Davey Road and collided with a small SUV on Highway 77, injuring five members of a Schuyler family.
The parents, Candido and Sandra Morales, suffered serious, non-life threatening injuries. Their three sons, ages 12, 7 and 5, suffered critical, non-life threatening injuries. All were transported to BryanLGH West in Lincoln.
The accident remains under investigation.
