Nebraska sophomore Jordan Hooper was named a first-team All-Big Ten winner by both the coaches and media on Monday. Hooper was joined on the all-conference teams by Lindsey Moore (2nd), Emily Cady (HM, All-Freshman) and Kaitlyn Burke (Sportsmanship). Hooper, a 6-2 forward from Alliance, NE, finished the regular season as the Big Ten’s No. 1 rebounder (9.3 rpg) and No. 4 scorer (19.1 ppg) while helping the Huskers to a 21-7 record that included a 10-6 Big Ten mark.
Moore earned second-team All-Big Ten honors from both the coaches and media after averaging 15.4 points, 5.2 assists and 2.2 steals per game on the year. She ranked eighth in the conference in scoring, second in assists and sixth in the steals. Cady, a 6’2 forward from Seward, NE, averaged 10.1 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.3 steals per game to go along with a team-leading 24 blocked shots on the season.
