The Nebraska men’s basketball team will face Purdue in the first round of the 2012 Big Ten Tournament in Indianapolis this Thursday, March 8 with a tip set for 7 p.m. central. The Huskers (12-17) come into the game as the #11 seed following an 81-69 loss at Minnesota on Saturday. Purdue (20-11) finished the regular season as the #6 seed following Sunday’s 85-74 loss at Indiana. The teams met in West Lafayette, Ind., on Feb. 22, with the Boilermakers taking an 83-65 decision.
If Nebraska wins Thursday, the Huskers will face third-seeded Ohio State Friday evening at 8 p.m. central.
