A couple of traffic stops resulted in two people being charged for possession of drugs.
The Nebraska State Patrol reports a trooper stopped a car traveling south on Highway 34 in Hall County for a defect on its license plate. The trooper searched the vehicle after observing open containers of alcohol and learning that there was an active warrant issued by Saunders County, finding three ounces of methamphetamine. 31-year-old Crystal Dahlke of Grand Island has been charged with possession with intent to deliver. She was taken to the Hall County jail.
Also, this weekend, a trooper stopped a car for speeding on I-80 near the Kearney interchange in Buffalo County. 29-year-old Patrick Ondrozeck of Bend, OR has been charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver after the trooper seized 40 lbs. of marijuana from the vehicle, located in luggage in the trunk and in the backseat. He was taken to the Buffalo County jail.
