Head Coach Bo Pelini, offensive coordinator Tim Beck, defensive coordinator John Papuchis and several of the veteran Huskers met with the media on Tuesday, in preparations for spring practice, which begins on Saturday.
Pelini says there is a lot to look forward on both sides of the ball. Needing to replace guys like Lavonte David and Alfonso Dennard on defense won’t be easy, but he likes what he has coming back. This will be a big year for Taylor Martinez. The quarterback will be in the second year of Tim Beck’s offense and now Pelini says it’s time for Taylor to refine his skills and techniques.
