Nebraska State Patrol officials report that a trooper Monday afternoon stopped a car for following too closely on I-80 near the Lincoln Airport exit. A search of the car netted 108 lbs. of marijuana in the trunk. The driver 35-year-old Misty Allen of Claremont, North Carolina was taken to the Lancaster County jail and charged with intent to sell marijuana.
Earlier, a trooper seized 54 lbs. of marijuana during a traffic stop in Seward County. The patrol reports the trooper stopped a car speeding on I-80 near the Pleasant Milford exit. The trooper found the marijuana in a suitcase in the trunk of the car. The driver, 32-year-old Alexander Mamic of Seattle, Washington was taken to the Seward County jail and charged with intent to sell marijuana.
