A Wynot man pleaded guilty today to a felony charge of enticing a child in a sex sting case.
Beatrice police arrested 38-year-old John Suing last summer after he allegedly sent texts to a person he thought was a 15-year-old boy seeking sex.
The “boy” was actually a police officer.
Gage County Deputy Attorney Rick Schreiner says Suing will be sentenced in May. Suing could be sentenced to up to five years in prison.
Suing pleaded guilty to a felony charge of enticing a child by means of an electronic device. A misdemeanor count of delivering obscene material to a minor was dismissed, as part of the plea agreement.
Last June, police contacted Suing when he came to Hannibal Park in Beatrice and arrested him later at police headquarters.
