The Nebraska State Patrol reports a trooper stopped a car westbound on I-80 near the Kearney interchange for driving on the shoulder. A drug dog from Buffalo County brought to the scene indicated there were drugs in the trunk. A search discovered a box containing 36 lbs. of candy bars containing THC or Tetrahydrocannabinol, the active ingredient in marijuana.
The driver, 24-year-old Harrison Goldberg of Breckenridge, CO, has been arrested and jailed in Buffalo County on a charge of possession with intent to sell.
A gram of hashish was also seized from the vehicle’s console.
