Wayne State College picked up a 21-8 win over #4 nationally ranked St. Cloud State to salvage the finale in a four-game Northern Sun Conference baseball series Sunday afternoon in Wayne. The visiting Huskies won the first game in eight innings by the score of 6-4.
Mike Bisenius went four for five with a homer, four RBIs and four runs scored. Nolen and Ritzdorf each had three hits, while Mike Frericks improved to 5-0 on the season with the win as he went 4.2 innings with two strikeouts and no walks while allowing 10 hits and six runs.
Wayne State will be on the road Tuesday afternoon for a Northern Sun Conference doubleheader at Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota starting at 1:30 p.m.
