Max Ramirez hit a lead off homer to start the seventh inning and Anthony Seratelli’s two run homer in the bottom of the seventh inning broke a 3-3 tie and gave the Omaha Stormchasers a 6-3 win over Round Rock in the first of four games at Werner Park.
AUDIO Stormchasers recap from Josh Odson
The 29 year old second baseman is hoping to make a name for himself on the AAA level after having success in the Royals’ organization at AA ball. Seratellia was the Northwest Arkansas Player of the Year in 2011 after ranking second in the Texas League in walks, third in runs scored and stolen bases, fourth in on-base percentage and triples. He was also named MiLB.com’s Texas League Player of the Posteason in 2010 after going 10-for-22 with five homers during NW Arkansas’ championship run.
Ethan Hollingsworth picked up the win, despite giving up the tying run in the seventh on a homer by Express centerfielder, Leonys Martin. Hollingsworth pitched three innings of relief in place of starter Mike Montgomery who went 4.1 innings, giving up seven hits and three walks.
