Creighton’s bats were silenced in the 3-0 loss at Nebraska on Wednesday night, as the Bluejays picked up just one hit off Husker starter Ashley Hagemann, who matched a career high with 14 strikeouts.
Lincoln native Becca Changstrom went the distance in the circle for the Jays. Changstrom struck out four batters, allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits. The bottom of the order came up big for NU. Senior Madison Drake finished 1-for-2 with a pair of RBIs out of the No. 8 spot in the lineup, while freshman Jordan Bettiol went 1-for-3 with an RBI out of the No. 9 spot.
