Public input is being sought to help locate a Colorado man last seen December first after visiting family in Alliance.

The Nebraska State Patrol has sent out a news release stating that it is working with the Dawes and Box Butte County Sheriff’s Offices to locate 38-year-old Joshua Bullock of Denver. Family members last saw Bullock at around 2pm (MDT) on December 1, 2011, where he was presumed to driving back to Colorado. He has not been seen or heard from since. On December 14th, a rancher led authorities to Bullock’s 1999 Dodge Ram pickup in a ravine on his property east of Chadron.

The patrol provides this description of Bullock: 38, a white male, 5’8”, 200 lbs., with brown hair and hazel eyes. He has ties to the Alliance and Chadron areas in Nebraska as well as the Arvada, Northglenn and Denver areas in Colorado.

“While this remains an active case, we have very little to go on,” said Investigative Services Lt. Monica Bartling in a written statement, “We are reaching out to the public for information that can further our investigation and help us locate Josh.”

Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact the Nebraska State Patrol Troop E Investigator Keith Drinkwalter at (308) 632-1211.

Crime Stoppers rewards for information about Bullock’s disappearance are being offered by Dawes and Box Butte Counties. Anyone with information can contact the Box Butte County Crime Stoppers at (308) 762-3181 or the Dawes County Crime Stoppers at (308)432-0519.
